the Atlanta Jewish Music Festival inspires community through the transcendent power of Jewish music

Atlanta is a city of talent and all about bringing people together. Atlanta Jewish Music Festival celebrates their heritage through year-round live performance events. They bring diverse communities together for a resounding annual world music Spring Festival.

I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Directors Russell Gottschalk and Bram Bessoff to design a festival poster that best fit their style and direction of the 6th Annual Atlanta Jewish Music Festival. The inspiration for the 2015 poster came from Andy Warhol’s Campbell’s Soup Cans. They loved the simplicity of the design while making such a bold statement. Our twist on this famous piece was the Matzo Box, a cracker box which is highly recognizable in the Jewish community. The headliners are on the cracker itself and the other performers were placed in place of the ingredients. We also teamed up with a local Atlanta screen printing studio, Danger Press.
